Goblet Squat- Air Squat, Wall Sit, Glute Bridges or Hip Thrusts
Push Press- Strict Press, Use 1 Weight in 2 Hands to decrease loading per side, Floor Press
WOD Guidance-
Longer, steady effort today. Choose a light/moderate weight on your object that allows you to complete each movement in 2-3 sets to conserve grip. You are ideally using one weight across all movements, so let your overhead movement be the limiting factor on weight choice! Move in your first 5 minutes of this workout how you’d like to be moving in the last 5 minutes of your workout!

Great workout this morning at 7am, pace was important throughout, but good to start the day !!!
Not feeling the odd objects so did yesterday’s wod kinda. 2 mile run (9:30) plus 50-40-30-20-10 sit-ups + 25-20-15-10-5 pushups from knees (6:23). Glad to be moving. Definitely feeling slow and plump:)
Yosemite – 4 rounds exactly. Barbell version @ 75#
20 deadlift
20 hang power clean
20 front squats
20 push press
It was hard to settle on a weight. Could have gone heavier to 95# but I think 75# was a good choice. It allowed me to keep moving and take minimal breaks. Broke up the HPC, FS and PP 8/7/5 towards the end. Last set of PP went 12 unbroken to finish right at 19:59.
QOD: Got an email that some Rogue products I’ve been looking at came back in stock 😄
Yosemite – 3 rounds. Barbell @ 95#. Hindsight I probably should have went a little lighter. Kept it to DL-19/1, HPC-10/9/1, FS-10/9/1, PP-10/10 throughout but rest got a little longer towards the end…
QOD: Tommy turned 2 this week and really enjoyed all of the festivities!
Completed the 1pm bodybuilding class today. I cycled through with 15# and 10# DBs depending on the movement. This class is no joke and I encourage everyone to join it at some point. It was great seeing some fellow Tilt V on the Zoom class today 💪🏻💪🏻

Did a 2.6 mile rainy walk with my daughter Kayla and Joel. Followed it up with today’s WOD. Used a 25# db. Completed 6 rounds + 20. Tough WOD after all the squatting this week. My glutes are lit up!
QOD: There’s been quite a few good news things lately. One, the gym is loaning out equipment to help get us through the quarantine. Two, my good friend Rick got a job during this crisis! Three, Julia just might have a graduation in the fall now (this could be the best news ever!). Four, we started a telehealth med app today at the office. This could totally help keep our practice in business for the next month and be a game changer in the industry! #staypositive
I am not good with negativity or bad things, I have to live in the moment and focus on the present. With that said, any good news is GREAT news!

Did 5pm zoom class. 5 rounds + 9 push press w/50# DB. Tried to move consistently and hold on to big sets. Thanks Mick and Casey!
